"For a production brewery that also produces winery and spirit products, finding efficiencies without sacrificing quality is a ceaseless endeavor. As we grow and develop new brands we are constantly working on ways to improve efficiency within our facility and by using products from Soluble Oak we can shorten the ageing and conditioning time of some of our core brands. This has translated to producing a “barrel aged” stout, for example, in 30 days vs 6+ months. Another benefit we found during our bench trials and development of our non-alcoholic beers was the usefulness oak had with these beverages. A common complaint about NA beers is that they don’t taste like “real beer”. This is partly due to the lack of fermentation or tank conditioning time. By incorporating our customized oak solution, we were able to help blend flavors and aromas in various NA beer styles without noticing any oak flavor or aroma when used in small doses. It was magic!
